My prayers are with you, Arianne and with your mom at this delicate time. Thank you for sharing your conversation with MaryAnn. You are both spirit-enriching gifts to me and so many others. I look forward to hearing how you and your are doing, as well as to reading MaryAnnβs book.
Blessings and prayers surround you, dear friend, as you love and guide your mother through this next transition. And I'm excited for MaryAnn's new book!
My prayers are with you and your family Arianne. We have so much advice on how to raise our children, being prepared for an empty nest but there was precious little when I had to face becoming the mom to my mom and how that upside down role would affect me. Blessings always. Barb
Thank you so very much, Barb! And how right you are βΒ we need more support in this area. I'm so sorry you have walked this road as well. Thank you for your witness and your love. Blessings to you!
My heart is full reading this today, with prayers for that journey with your mama, and gratitude for both of you wise women.
My adult "neurospicy" daughter at 43 just said this morning "sometimes my spiciness is cinnamon. Sometimes it's cumin. Both are delicious, but the flavors don't always work in every recipe." It has taken us a long while as a family to unlearn and relearn ways of embracing our many flavors. Can't wait to read this book from my own intersection as a parent, grandparent and pastor.
Thank you so much, Brigid, for this beautiful reflection, and for your loving support. I love the variety of spices in your family! Cinnamon to cumin and beyond! And how you all blend together. And I love that term β Neurospicy. Blessings to you, Brigid, and thank you.

Oh Ginny, thank you and bless you, my friend. Your support means more than I can say. π
Thank you Ginny! For reading, and for your love for our Arianne.

Thank you, thank you, dearest Kathy. You are such a gift, and you model so beautifully how to carry the heavy things of life with grace.
